- Chris Butterworth, MBB, CMQ/OE, CQE, CRE

I have worked in Quality Control in Manufacturing for all of my career. I have worked in many manufacturing companies including foods, medical devices, plastics, tools and have implemented various Quality Management Systems in all of them (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 17025...).

But the best part of my job was solving difficult problems. So as I acquired ASQ certifications (CQE was first) and learned new techniques, I was able to solve tougher problems.

I was introduced to Six Sigma in the late 1980s and knew that this was a body of knowledge worth knowing. I ended up gaining a Black Belt certification. After many projects and millions of dollars in savings and also training hundreds of Green and Black belts, I qualified for and passed the ASQ Master Black Belt. I was the first in Canada and 13th overall. Today, there are less than 200 ASQ MBBs worldwide.

I've lead many projects and each time I solved a tough problem I would reflect on the techniques that worked. This is what you will get from my course: the best techniques from real-world experience with examples.
